RAJ THE BLOG

In spring of 2011 I was proposed for an art residence at Apexart, a non-profit cultural organisation & gallery in New York City, by the Lithuanian curator living in NY Sandra Skurvida.

The experience was extraordinary, very exiting and in all senses constructive.

During my staying in NY I had to write a BLOG, a kind of diary about my residence. I did it by painting my days through texts, photo-collages and videos. For this blog I received a reward by the Rockefeller Foundation, one of the supporters of the Apexart. Here I present some of those collages and in doing so I want to thank everyone that helped me to live this unique experience.
