Vesna Maria Maher
She is a UWC of the Atlantic (UK) graduate, has a M.A. in Spanish Language and Literature and a final exam in Franch language from Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. Has a M.A. degree in acting from the Academy for theatre, radio, film and television in Ljubljana.
As an actress, she was employed in the Slovene Popular Theatre Celje and Koper Theatre. As an independent artist she has cooperated with Slovene National Theatre Drama in Ljubljana and with Slovene Theatre in Trieste. She also worked at Slovene TV RAI Trieste (Italy) and TV Slovenia.
As a translator, she translated films from English, French, Spanish and Italian for TV Slovenia, radio and theater plays. The most comprehensive among her literary translations was Psychomagic by Alejandro Jodorowsky.
She is the mother of three children, fruit of relationship with the architect and audiovisual artist Raj Per Tot.
In recent years she's been exploring consciousness through nature, body and creativity. She has started designing in digital photografy, writing and presenting her work in various media.
